KCC to Hold Hearing on Agreement Reached between ITC and Prairie Wind

ITC Great Plains and Prairie Wind will present oral testimony before the Kansas Corporation Commission pertaining to a Stipulation and Agreement reached between the two parties in Phase I of the highly contested applications for the right to construct extra high voltage transmission lines in south central Kansas.

In the negotiated agreement, ITC and Prairie Wind agree both are qualified to receive the appropriate certificates necessary to construct and operate the transmission lines proposed in their individual applications. The agreement further recognizes that the Commission will determine at the conclusion of Phase II, whether and what certificates will be granted and what conditions may apply to such certificates.
