Explanation of Report Information

Authority

TypeType of authority
StatusStatus of the authority:

CANCELLED means the carrier has failed to keep their authority in good standing either by allowing their authorities to expire or by Commission action.

SUSPENDED means the authorities are suspended and the carrier should not operating. Suspensions are most likely insurance related.

DISMISSED means the carrier applied for authority, but failed to complete the application process. Most common reasons that this might occur is the failure to submit insurance, submit payment or attend safety training.

PENDING means the carrier has submitted an application, but has yet to complete the process (usually lasts a maximum of 30 days).

GRANTED means this authority is in good standing. Please remember there can be other authorities that are not in good standing.
