Conservation Division Order Summary

For Fiscal Year 2025, the Commission issued 629 Conservation Division noticed and consent orders. Included among those orders were 316 penalty orders imposing $325,150 in fines and 50 orders totaling $245,500 in additional penalties for failure to comply with a Commission order, all payable to the state general fund.*

For Fiscal Year 2026, the Commission issued 446 Conservation Division noticed and consent orders. Included among those orders were 273 penalty orders imposing $144,000 in fines and 13 orders totaling $65,500 in additional penalties for failure to comply with a Commission order, all payable to the state general fund.*

Fines are assessed to oil and gas operators that violate Conservation statutes and regulations.Generally, penalty orders are imposed when operators have forgone the opportunity to remedy or remediate enforcement issues. Pipeline Safety Division Order Summary

For Fiscal Year 2025, the Commission issued 24 noticed and consent orders in Pipeline Safety dockets. Of those, the Commission approved 23 Pipeline Safety penalty orders assessing $137,250 in fines payable to the state general fund.*

For Fiscal Year 2026, the Commission issued 51 noticed and consent orders in Pipeline Safety dockets. Of those, the Commission approved 43 Pipeline Safety penalty orders assessing $81,750 in fines payable to the state general fund.*

Telecommunication Division Order Summary

For Fiscal Year 2025, the Commission issued 310 noticed and consent orders in Telecom dockets. No fines were assessed.

For Fiscal Year 2026, the Commission issued 300 noticed and consent orders in Telecom dockets. One Telecom penalty order was issued assessing $3,900 in fines payable to the state general fund.

Transportation Division Order Summary

For Fiscal Year 2025, the Commission issued 1357 noticed and consent orders in Transportation dockets. Of those, the Commission approved 135 Transportation penalty orders, assessing $170,700 in fines payable to the state general fund.*

For Fiscal Year 2026, the Commission issued 1636 noticed and consent orders in Transportation dockets. Of those, the Commission approved 370 Transportation penalty orders, assessing $211,000 in fines payable to the state general fund.*
